Catching Up!

It's cold outside and I want to curl up on the couch and veg out with a bag of chips, hot chips. Not the Taiki's the kids love, those are weird. Just regular hot chips. Instead I am launching this business, gearing up for Shades Retreat, and working on plans B, C and D. In the middle of all of this is the wife and kids. It's honestly great. Mentally exhausting at times but really great. I've woken up with a smile daily...and a cup of coffee. I'm limiting myself to one cup a day in the New Year. Maybe.

And speaking of new, yesterday was my last official day with my old job after giving it up two "whole" months ago. They gave me a nice going away luncheon and some loot! Always nice. New luggage for this life changing trip coming up. I'm debating on fabric or hard shell. What say you?

I'm not going to lie, there is fear in jumping...but fear is healthy. It keeps me researching and building and promoting. It keeps me moving during the day when I think laying on the couch eating chips would be a good thing. Don't get me wrong, I eat the chips...just a little bit later than I would if I was working a 9 to 5 with a promised pay check.

We have purchased our one way tickets, the date has been set. It's official. Ain't that scary good? My momma was not thrilled with that news. I understand. Life is to be lived. She understands that.

We are selling everything in the house outside of a few items that I just have to keep. My momma has already put in a bid on some stuff. Highest offer wins. I told her that. Telling you too. Come thru for this yard sale!

We are having a going away party after Shades Retreat. If you are in the ATL area...you might can come. Might. Just keeping it real in these internet streets.
