Coffee Shops in Siem Reap - Noir Coffee

I've written several blogs from various coffee shops in Siem Reap, enough that I feel like I can list favorites. I also figured why not just start a mini review blog of some of the ones we've visited.

Today's Blog is written in Noir Coffee. An interesting name for an interesting little Cafe. The dictionary says Noir is French for black and is a type of fiction or a film that has tough characters and is cynical, bleak and pessimistic in nature. An example of noir is the film Citizen Kane.

All that to say, the furniture is dark and the walls are grey but I didn't get any of the above. I did get a nice little coffee shop that uses its space well. There's even a section hidden by a secret wall. Really unnecessary but cute and makes this location a little bit different.

Most coffee shops here offer food, coffee, teas, baked goods and frappes and Noir is no exception. I tried a local dish Beef Lok Lak that was decent, not great but decent. I also had a cappuccino that was perfect. I meant to order a Latte but hey, great mistakes do happen and I enjoyed every sip! Amber had pasta due to the Vegan thing and plain coffee that she didn't really enjoy. She will order differently next time.

Working conditions were great, wifi was fast and there were plenty of electric plug ins. The tables were big enough to work out without crowding each other. We will be back.
